I'm fortunate enough to live and work in a beautiful part of the country - just on the Dorset/Devon border, on the Jurassic Coast. Just a mile from the pretty little town of Lyme Regis, full of family-run individual businesses including fossil shops and art galleries.

On the rare occasions I'm not working in the office, taking photos or making pots, my interests include reading (of course!), writing my blog on English, walking on the beach or in the countryside, and listening to world music - especially the kora. As you can see, I'm no oil painting and my interest in fashionable winter beachwear is rudimentary. Fortunately for her, my daughter Leonie isn't a chip off the old block.
